Singapore Airlines Chief Steward went beyond his way to help retrieve SIM Card…

If there’s anything to shout about Singapore Airlines, it’s probably their almost-perfect service quality (ok, if you disagree, just keep quiet k?)

A Hong Kong passenger was on board flight SQ860 from Singapore to Hong Kong when he accidentally dropped his SIM card into a tiny gap between the storage compartment and the side of the business class seat (don’t you hate it when something like this happens?)

So anyway, the passenger, Gary Leung, had tried all means to retrieve his SIM card, which was very important to him. But when he couldn’t get it, he tried to ask one of the stewardess on board for help. Fortunately, Singapore Airlines Chief Steward Foo Wen Huee came to Mr Leung’s help.

First, Mr Foo used two ice prongs that were taped together to try to reach the SIM card, but it didn’t quite work.

Long story short, the Chief Steward called the ground staff onto the plane after it landed to try to retrieve the SIM card, which of course turned out successful.

According to Mr Leung, the Chief Steward sent him photos of the engineers dismantling the business class seat in order to retrieve the SIM card.
