A video of a group of students fighting in classroom at St Hilda’s Secondary School in Tampines is going viral.
2 students can be seen in the video punching and kicking another student. There are other students in the class who do not do anything to stop the fight. But what’s interesting is that there’s an adult man in the video who is standing at the door of the classroom who does nothing to stop the fight either.
According to the Vice-Principal of the school, the man in the video is not a teacher, but an intern with an external agency who “chanced upon the incident when walking along the corridor”.
“Since he is not one of our teachers, he would not have the training or authority to manage the situation.”
Wah lao, even if not teacher, at least can step in to stop the fighting right?
Later on in the video, another student stepped in to stop the fighting. Good thing the fighting didn’t get out of control and resulted in more serious injury.
