How come Malaysia also wanna ‘chup’ in the US Warship accident?

Yesterday, the USS John S McCain collided with a merchant vessel. But the location of the collision is now a big question. Singapore said that the collision happened in Singapore waters, then Malaysia disputed and said the collision took place in their waters.

And thennn…when Singapore issued a statement announcing it will lead the search and rescue operations, the Malaysian Director-General of Maritime Enforcement Agency made these remarks: “We will them (Singapore) these are Malaysian waters. If they want to assist in the search and rescue operation, they are welcome.”

Seriously lar bang, like that also want to be territorial about things.

The fact that the USS John S McCain and the USS America ships have docked at our Singapore Changi Naval Base says a lot doesn’t it?

By the way, the waters in which the collision happened is near Pedra Branca, which is the contentious island that Malaysia has always claimed is its own territory. But the International Courts of Justice declared in 2003 that the island belongs to Singapore. Now you know why Malaysia thinks and claims its leading the search and rescue operations which is in its territorial waters?
