2 men have been arrested after they caused a scene at a Bak Kut Teh stall at Balestier on Saturday (19 Aug). The video of the two men, 50 and 53, was circulated all over Facebook, showing the older man flinging chopsticks all over the floor and throwing a chair against a rack before walking to a bun steamer and pushing it to the floor.
According to the restaurant staff, the men were drunk in the early hours of Saturday. A staff gave them the menu and utensils while another staff said she would be back to take their orders, when one of the men flew into a rage.
Balestier Bak Kut Teh (Kian Lian) said the cost of damaged is at least $5,000.
Last month, a Teochew Porridge coffeeshop along Upper Serangoon was the scene of violence and fighting twice.
Seriously, all these angry men need to take a chill pill, don’t suka suka flip table throw chair can???
