But no need to worry lar, the government set up a temporary hawker centre to accommodate the hawkers from now till 2021, when the new building that replaces Golden Shoe car park is completed.
The temporary hawker centre is located about 200 metres from the original location, next to Telok Ayer MRT station along Cross Street.
But only 53 out of 56 hawkers have chosen to continue operations at the temporary location.
