Share

A Chinese lady posted on Facebook about how she was wrongfully accused by a stranger.

Mdm Zhou claimed that a man named David Voo had accused her on Facebook of trying to abduct a little girl on 15 July at the Compass One Shopping Mall at Sengkang.

According to Mdm Zhou, she was apparently at Compass One after her facial with her daughter to shop.

She noticed a little girl crying and she walked over to comfort the girl. Passers by then asked her to bring the little girl to the information counter for the counter staff to help. but before she could do so, another Chinese lady was calling out the toddler’s name.

According to Mdm Zhou, she was trying to help the little girl, but was accused by David Voo who did not know the truth.

“This post with my photo and arrow pointing at me had hurt me deeply. My neighbours and friends have approached me to ask me why I could be smeared in such a way, and I decided to lodge a police report.”

In the post, she asked David Voo to “remove the post immediately and apologise” to her.

Luckily for her, David Voo did as was told.
