The Police have arrested a 67-year-old man for his suspected involvement in two cases of Outrage of Modesty in the vicinity of Bedok North on Monday (July 10, 2017).
On 30 June 2017 and 7 July 2017, two victims reported that they had been molested by an unknown man while travelling on a public bus.
Through extensive ground enquiries, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the suspect and arrested him along Bedok North Avenue 4.
The man will be charged in Court on 11 July 2017 for the offence of Outrage of Modesty.
Anyone convicted for the offence of Outrage of Modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to 2 years, or with caning, or with combination of such punishments.
