Dramanice allows viewers to stream pirated content and will be blocked by pay-TV operator PCCW Media.
The site has 56,500 unique visitors a day and more than 3,000 of the visitors come from Singapore.
PCCW Media is a Hong Kong based pay-TV operator which owns Viu, a subscription-based online streaming service.
The company served papers on Singapore’s 5 Internet Service Providers – Singtel, StarHub, M1, MyRepublic and ViewQwest in May, and also made an application in the High Court to get the Internet Service Providers to block Dramanice.
Sigh….need to find other sites to catch the latest episodes of drama serials liao…
