The 30-year-old Bangladeshi construction supervisor was holding on to a toothbrush when he knocks the victim room door. She couldn’t understand what the Bangladeshi wants and assumed that he need toothpaste as she saw him holding the toothbrush.

She then proceeds into the toilet in the room and the Bangladeshi followed behind her and locked her inside the toilet and proceed to rape her.

When the Bangladeshi worker opens the toilet door, she attempted to run away but was being dragged back by the Bangladeshi worker and this is when she got raped the second time in the room.

The victim came to Singapore to visit her husband who has been working in Singapore as a construction worker for 12 years.

The victim’s husband had rented a room in the shop house so that the two could stay together during her time here.

During that time, the Bangladeshi stayed in a room next to theirs and the victim was alone in the room when her husband went to work.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the case will be trialled in the High Court on Jul 4.
