A 16-year-old, si gina has been arrested for armed robbery in Yishun on Monday (Jun 19), the male suspect robbed a 7-eleven outlet in Chong Pang with a knife at around 10.55 pm on Monday.

Armed with a knife, he robbed a 22-year-old employee and run away with $230 cash.
The 7-eleven employee made a police report.
Ang Mo Kio Police Division officers conducted extensive investigations and follow-up and arrested the suspect on Wednesday at Yishun Central.
The si gina will be charged in court on Friday.
If convicted he faces a jail term of between 5 to 20 years and/or at least 12 strokes of the cane.
Earlier this month, a guy named Hu Yongda was charged for stealing bra and high heels in Yishun.
He was found with four pairs of high-heeled shoes from brands such as Mitju, D&C and H&M. A bra was also found in his possession.
Hu Yongda will appear in court again on Jun 28, 2017.
If convicted of housebreaking, he will face a jail term of up to three years and a fine and/or if convicted of possessing suspected stolen items, he faces a jail term of up to a year and/or a maximum fine of $3,000.
