The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) retrieved a male body in the waters near The Fullerton Bay Hotel today at 4.30pm.
SCDF was alerted to an incident at 80 Collyer Quay around 3.15pm where a 78-year-old man had drowned in the water. It was reported that he had left behind his wallet and mobile phone behind.
SCDF officers conducted an underwater search and retrieved the body which was wrapped up in a blue bag. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
