An 85 year old lady fell to her death this morning at 10.20am at her home at Block 45 Circuit Road.
She is believed to have fallen from her unit on the 9th floor while she was hanging her laundry.
According to a Lianhe Zaobao reporter who was at the scene, the lady fell through a canvas awning on the first floor of the building.
A woman who is believed to be the elderly lady’s neighbour was seen crying while being interviewed by the police.
Neighbours shared that the elderly lady lives with her younger daughter who was at work when the incident happened.
They also revealed that she was active in her household work even as she looked elderly and frail.
Many of them also shared that she was known to be friendly and helpful, and was even a volunteer at one time.
