Schoolboy dies: Before we start blaming the school or the teacher, let us be reminded that accidents happen and sometimes, it’s no one’s fault that such unfortunate incidents happen.
It was during physical education class at Geylang Methodist Secondary School when the tragic incident took place.
A 13-year-old schoolboy was playing football with his friends in the morning when he grabbed onto the goal post. It fell and hit his head.
He was later sent to K Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and died later. He suffered from head injuries and CPR was performed on him en route to the hospital.
The school has not commented and before we pass quick judgement on this incident, here are some online comments that we could perhaps learn from.
